Corvallis Flight Training started in 2024 as a simple part 61 flight school. We started with a single 172 and learned to fly. We added a 150 but found it to be too cramped and limited in carrying capacity. We eventually bought another 172 in Georgia and flew it back to Oregon. This newer plane has IFR equipment that allows us to train people with instruments which is vital to providing full service training all the way to flight instructor. We fly out of Corvallis Oregon (KCVO). It's an amazing place to learn because it's uncontrolled, near other airports, close to towered airports, has two runways for crosswind practice, and close to the coast and mountains for beauty.
